*OUR DAILY WISDOM- 4TH MARCH 2024* 

Theme: Surrendering to Divine Guidance

Greetings Beloved, 

Hoping you are well in Jesus name. 

A  graduate unemployed christian by name Randy in 1989 was looking for an opportunity to get scholarship to study advance level Biochemistry in UK. For 3 years his applications were not successful and the frustrations mounted. Then, a friend Rosemary suggested that he do self reflection to know what was wrong and increase his prayers. 

In 2002 his old friend Francis who was then a student in China sent him some applications to try.  At first he didn't like the idea because at the time, Studies in China was looked down by his people in Nigeria.  However, not getting what he wanted, he finally took the offer. He went to China to study Biochemistry and furthered it to get PhD. On completion he immediately got a very lucrative job offer in Dubai in one of the 5 Star hotels as a Strategic Nutrition Consultant. He was also offered a lecturer position in one of their Universities as well as a private consultant on Nutrition to some of the wealthy people in Dubai.  The lesson here is that: be patient. Sometimes, man proposes but God knows what is best for us. Trust the Father to let His Will prevail in your life.

In times of challenge, it is paramount for believers to surrender their struggles to the Almighty, trusting in His divine plan. One powerful scriptural verse that encapsulates this principle is Proverbs 3:5-6, "Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight."

In this verse, God invites us to relinquish control, placing our unwavering trust in Him. The challenges we face may seem insurmountable, but through faith, we can find solace in knowing that God is in control. Letting go becomes an act of obedience and an acknowledgment that His ways surpass our understanding.

 *4.Faith Amidst Trials* : Pray for unwavering faith, believing that God's promises are true, and He is faithful to see you through every trial.

 *5.Strength to Let Go:* Request strength to let go of anxieties, fears, and the need for control, surrendering it all into the hands of the Lord.

As you pour out your heart in prayer, remember that God's love and wisdom far surpass our own. May the peace that transcends all understanding guard your heart and mind, knowing that in surrendering to Him, you allow the Lord to navigate your path and lead you to victory. Amen.
